task from dad: what if ice melt into ocean?
Background
1. where are the ice on earth?
beneath is copy from(https://sealevel.nasa.gov/understanding-sea-level/global-sea-level/ice-melt)
"A large fraction of the Earth’s fresh water is frozen: It’s stored in glaciers all around the world, and in both the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets. "
2. example copy from (https://climate.nasa.gov/faq/30/if-all-of-earths-ice-melts-and-flows-into-the-ocean-what-would-happen-to-the-planets-rotation/)
For example, if the Greenland ice sheet were to completely melt and the meltwater were to completely flow into the oceans, then global sea level would rise by about seven meters (23 feet) and the Earth would rotate more slowly, with the length of the day becoming longer than it is today, by about two milliseconds.
My opinion
When the ice melt into the sea it affects the ocean current and sea levels rise. Did you know that if all ice melted in Greenland, the day will be longer, and how long two millisecond you think it's very short because when you try to say the fastest word you can say it is about 11 millisecond. But this is not why you can think that is short you you can't even make the day longer, not even 0.infity0s and1.
