Speech ( just one more chance)

Last month I had a lovely weekend to rabbit Isaland with my family and friends.

We bulit a sandcastle, jumping in the waves, and enjoyed exploring beatiful seashells all over the beach.

But, strange things I found, two years ago, same spot, there was nothing except wilt branches there, not to mention so many kinds of seashells, and surprisely they are all alive.

Meanwhile, the ocean temperature had perceptible risen upon my feeling. I was astonished by this phenomenon, I wonder what has happened, whether it was good or bad?

So I rush back to my computer, I found lots of interesting facts, a kiwi scientist confirmed that the sea water around New Zealand had become warmer in past 30 years, even worse, in the past three years,  the temperature of coastal waters rising faster.

The seashells come on the beach because the ocean had turn warmer than before. The ocean turn warm because something bad is going to happen. Like the ocean absorbs most of the excess heat from greenhouse gas effluences.

According to a report, between 1981 and 2018, the sea-surface temperatures across New Zealand's regions had arisen more than 6 degrees,  of course, including the Tasman sea around us.

Further more, what is the consquence of the warmer ocean?

Firstly, if it keeps getting warmer as scientist had predicted, the ocean reefs inculding The Great barrier Reef might extinct. The sea animals that eat those reefs will also extinct. The sea animals that eat those sea animals might also be extinct, leading to no more wild sea animals left in the ocean.

Secondly, due to ocean current regulate the global climate, hotter sea water will disturb former system, which have led the earth one part over heated, and another part over freezed. It means more nature disasters will happen, like tornados, drought, flood, wild bushfires, insect outbreaks, all linked to abnormal current caused by warmer sea.

As conclusion, the earth is changing, in the way we may not like.

There is an independent scientist called James Lovelock, who is 103 years old, he named Earth Gaia after Greek Goddness, because he believed that earth has its own soul and mind to rule everything, which means, earth is alive.

Every one oil drop we digged lose her blood,                                                       Every rubbish we buried posion her body,                                                         Deforestation destroyed her fur on her skin,                                                        Micro-plastic contaminate her bone,                                                                               What we did,

Gaia endure,

but now the warning is coming,

mother is heart-broken, mother is angry,

so please mother earth, Gaia,

give us JUST ONE MORE CHANCE.
